Wilmette parents can sleep peacefully tonight . . .
conservativeBrand joined Herbie from Chicago in communicating with the Wilmette pulbic schools on their reaction to the planned Obama speech to students on Tuesday. The schools will not be airing the speech live; rather they will make it available to older students during non-instructional time - and parents will be permitted to opt out of the viewing. None of the curriculum or lesson plans will be used by teachers. Good news for Wilmette kids.
If parents from other localities are worried, check out the petition at http://keepyourkidshome.com/.
